Head librarian: Nicolas Roudet

Located at 12 rue Goethe, the Education Sciences and Psychology Library is one of the libraries managed by the University of Strasbourg’s shared documentation service (SCD).

The library contains around 27,000 books (three-quarters of which are freely accessible) and more than 100 current subscriptions to periodicals, covering all fields of psychology and education sciences.

On the ground floor
– psychology books organised by main themes (psycho-analysis, social psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, etc.)
– pre-1980 periodicals
– the Education Sciences collection located in the extension

 On the mezzanine
– standard reference works (dictionaries, encyclopaedias, manuals, etc.)
– post-1980 psychology journals and periodicals
– psychology theses and dissertations

Registering at the Education Sciences and Psychology Library
Books and periodicals may be freely consulted in the library. A library card is required if you wish to borrow materials.
Registration is free to University of Strasbourg students and staff, and to BNU (National University Library) cardholders. Non-students and ex-students may register either at the SCD or the BNU.

Opening hours during the academic year

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 to 19:00
  • Friday: 8:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday: 10:00 to 12:00
