Cyclope: the club that sees science from a different perspective!

The Cyclope club brings together members who are creative, dynamic and passionate about science, with the aim of promoting science in an innovative, original way. The club is open to students in Strasbourg’s Scientific Communication Master’s degree.

Since 1994, Cyclope has actively participated in spreading awareness of scientific and technical culture within the university and among the wider public. Over the years, its members have developed a large network of contacts with communication and science professionals, as well as alumni of the Master’s programme.

The club carries out a wide range of diverse projects. For instance, it publishes a biannual journal called Vitamine C and publicises its events on its website. Members also organise exhibitions and coffee-house debates, and represent the club each year at the Science Festival (Fête de la Science).

Cyclope isn’t just about work, work, work – it’s also about having a good time together! We organise plenty of social events, notably in partnership with Edutopia (the Education Sciences students’ club) and the AEP (philosophy students’ club, or Amicale des Étudiants en Philosophie).
